Savage Welomes Banbridge Road Improvements

Sinn Fein Councillor Kevin Savage has welcomed the decision of the Department of Infrastructure to instigate a programme of repairs across the Banbridge district in the coming month.


He stated:

"From the 8th April until the 6th May contractors acting on behalf of the Department will be completing a programme of repairs on the rural road network."

He added:

"Roads affected will include the Ballymacanallen Road, Park Lane, Point Road, Kernan Road, Kernan Lough Road, Knocknagore Road, Loughbrickland Road, Drumaran Road and the Tullylish Road.

He concluded: " residents will incur some inconvenience as these roads may be close during the day to allow works to be completed, however I welcome this investment in out rural roads which have lost out in recent years."
